Five Senses/ Picasso/ Toys
Potato heads are a great way to teach five senses, toys/sharing, or Picasso.
It's also a great sub plan for when you get sick and don't have the energy to write a sub plan.
Have it printed and ready to go for any emergency day off.
Teach your students scissor safety. Cutting and gluing.
First print bodies on brown colored paper.
Print arms and smiles on white paper.
Cut out arms and bodies. Have them pre-glued to a background before giving to students.

Print eyes, eyebrows and mustaches on white paper.
Pink paper
Print ears, lips, and noses on pink paper.
Any color
Print hats and shoes on any color paper.
Hand out background paper of potato with arms. Remind them we are not cutting this paper.
Hand out glue and scissors.
Let each student pick a pair of eyes to cut and glue.
Continue with each body part and accessory.
The order I like to hand out in is.
Eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows/ mustaches, ears, shoes and hats.
Don't forget their names! Finished and ready to display or take home!
